The moment came when Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta summoned the teenager from the bench in stoppage time. As Nwaneri stepped onto the pitch wearing the number 83 shirt, he broke the previous record held by Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott (16 years and 30 days).
